Neutral, quiet, peaceful, private as in banking secrecy, independent but not necessarily non-committed -- the impressions one gets of Switzerland, even for someone like me who hasn't been to the country, just from reading about it. As in the Twilight saga novel when Bella declares "I am Switzerland." in the midst of an altercation between a vampire and a he-wolf. Really, that made me laugh. Or just from watching "The Sound of Music" or from singing/hearing "My Favorite Things" which I assure you can calm me down. Nice,no,gorgeous, as in Urs Buhler of Il Divo. Not to mention Lindt chocolates. Angels might just be flying over Switzerland.
