Flowers and Color in Fashion

Nature, specifically flowers, is one ready source of inspiration in any creative activity. Issey Miyake's stylized , color-exploding rendering of flowers in the Evian commercial is so engaging and playful.

The poppy was Kenzo's inspiration in his perfume although the poppy itself has no perfumy scent. The flower itself is the inspiration for the creation of the perfume.

'Flora' by Gucci itself derives sparkling floral notes from peony, osmanthus and rose, with citrusy sidelights and sandalwood and patchouli base.

'Daisy' by Marc Jacobs aptly spells summery youth...
