A Prayer

Sept. 26, 2007
This is a prayer I wrote in my dairy a year ago and I just wanted to write/pray it again.
Dear Father God, Creator of the universe, please teach me how to translate into clothing designs, the essence of Your awesome creations.
Abba Father, in Genesis 3:21, You showed Your love for Your errant creation Adam and Eve, by making clothes out of animal skins to protect them as they were banished from Eden. Even as You punished them justly, You showed Your love and mercy for mankind by clothing them. If it is Your will , Father God Creator, deign to teach me how to translate into wearable clothing designs the twinkling radiance of the stars, the velvety darkness of the night, the soft silvery moon, the power of the deep blue ocean, the playfulness of the wind and breeze, the cool flirtiness of the bubbling brook, the shifting lines of the desert sand, the blush of the rose, the mystery and abundance of the autumn leaves, the freshness of spring, the strength of summer, the quiet rest of winter, the tempest of the storm, the soothingess of gentle rain, the softness of the coulds, the hopefulness of the morning sky, the swirling lights of the aurora borealis, the warm glow of fire, the wisdom and sadness of dusk, the richness of chocolate, coffee and wine; the innocence of little children, the texture of rocks, pebbles, stone and sand, the sheen, colour and lustre of gemstones, diamonds and pearls; the verdance of forests and grassy glades, the beauty of plants and animals, the beauty of flowers and colours and their meanings. As a helpless and powerless child mimics her Artist-Designer Father, Father God, teach me , in Jesus holy name. Amen. Thank You, Father God. Help me and teach me to employ the colours and beauty of the rainbow which You created to show Your love, mercy and patience for Your weak and erring creatures. Thank You , Father God.
